Satyrium acaciae (Fabricius, 1787)   


Range: Europe from Spain to Ural; W Turkey.

Distribution in Bulgaria: Widespread from sea level to ca. 1400 m.

Habitat: Bushy places at forest margins and in river valleys.

Bionomics: One generation from May till July. Larval host-plant: Prunus spinosa (Rosaceae) (Tolman & Lewington 1997).

Conservation status: Widespread and abundant. IUCN category: Lower risk, least concern.
