Pyrgus malvae (Linnaeus, 1758)

Range: Eurasia.

Distribution in Bulgaria: Widespread from sea level to at least 1800 m.

Habitat: Diverse open grassy places.

Bionomics: One or two generations from April till August. Larval host-plants: Potentilla (Rosaceae) (Tolman & Lewington 1997).

Conservation status: Of no concern. IUCN category: Lower risk, least concern.
