Plebeius semiargus (Rottemburg, 1775)   

Name in Tolman & Lewington (1997): Cyaniris semiargus
 

Range: Temperate Eurasia.

Distribution in Bulgaria: Mostly in mountains up to ca. 2300 m (Abadjiev 2001), in addition occurs also in hilly lowlands in N Bulgaria.

Habitat: Diverse open grassy places.

Bionomics: One or two generations, from May till August. Larval host-plant: Trifolium pratense (Fabaceae) (Tolman & Lewington 1997).
Conservation status: Of no concern. IUCN category: Lower risk, least concern.
