Plebeius daphnis ([Schiffermüller], 1775)   

Name in Tolman & Lewington (1997): Meleageria daphnis
 

Range: S and C Europe E to Ural; Asia Minor to Iran.

Distribution in Bulgaria: Widespread from near sea level to ca. 1500 m, but reaches 1900 m.

Habitat: Dry warm grassy, flowery, bushy and/or rocky places usually, though not exclusively, in calcareous terrain.

Bionomics: One generation from June till August. Larval host-plant: Coronilla varia (Fabaceae) (Tolman & Lewington 1997).

Conservation status: Of no concern. IUCN category: Lower risk, least concern.
