Plebeius amanda (Schneider, 1792)

Range: N Africa, temperate Eurasia.

Distribution in Bulgaria: Widespread though local from sea level up to ca. 1800 m.

Habitat: Grassy and/or bushy places, usually along forest margins.

Bionomics: One generation from May till August. Larval host-plant: Vicia (Fabaceae) (Tolman & Lewington 1997).

Conservation status: Of no concern. IUCN category: Lower risk, least concern.
