Boloria euphrosyne (Linnaeus, 1758)   

Name in Tolman & Lewington (1997): Clossiana euphrosyne

 

Range: Temperate Eurasia.

Distribution in Bulgaria: In forested lowlands and mountains from sea level up to ca. 1900 m a.s.l.

Habitat: Woodland margins, roads and glades, river valleys, bushy slopes.

Bionomics: One generation from late April till late July. Larval host-plant: Viola (Tolman & Lewington 1997).

Conservation status: Of no concern. IUCN category: Lower risk, least concern.
